My mom and I have made a tradition of spending the Saturday after Thanksgiving (which happens to be “Small Business Saturday”) at her local art center, Fiddlehead, that hosts an annual craft show. I always have every intention of only shopping for others, since it is the holiday season, but I usually end up grabbing something for myself. This past year I discovered the wonderful work of Suzala Paper – the art of Susan Hellier, Suzanne Drown and Laurie Spugnardi (they have an Etsy shop, too). I can’t remember which one was manning the booth, but she was very nice…and I always appreciate a good collaboration!
I was having trouble choosing from among the prints when I spotted their calendars. I ended up buying the “Favorite Places” version and am pleased to finally have it hanging above my bloggin’ computer. And when the year is done, I can frame the beautiful art prints that are leftover!
What a lovely surprise to see my calendar here. Thanks for liking!

For sure! I just love the calendar and really enjoy seeing what artwork the next month brings. I also plan on framing some of the prints once the year is done… 🙂
