Butch and I actually had 2 days off in a row at the same time so, despite me not feeling “justified” spending money on anything non-baby-essential-related (and despite both of us suffering from persistent head colds), we traveled down to Ithaca for a mini-vaca…aka Babymoon!
I’m glad we went. Not only was it nice to get outta’ town (and out of our own heads…colds and all), but we had the chance to visit with some old friends who lived/were in town. And I had the chance to share my favorite parts of Ithaca with Butch from last summer when I visited – the food and the falls!
