Every now and then I catch the B Organic show on PBS, and one episode that caught my eye featured an under 1000 sq ft “moveable house” in the midwest. The couple who built it are real DIYers, and truly understand that less can equal more!
I was especially impressed with all the hidden storage (in the walls & ceiling), the ingenious kitchen area, the cozy bedroom (hidden behind faux bookcase doors) and the overall feeling of spaciousness throughout. I also appreciated that just because the space was small didn’t mean that sentimental objects, like an antique tea cup collection, couldn’t be displayed:
